Victoria rebuilt her life from the inside of her own trauma recovery. Stephanie has been navigating chronic illness since 2006. Two women. Two completely different tunnels. Nearly four decades of lived experience between them that became the foundation of everything they offer.
Mindset + Mastery is a UK-based coaching practice specialising in trauma-informed coaching and chronic illness coaching for professional women. Our work is rooted in lived experience, not borrowed theory, which is what makes the difference between coaching that sounds right and coaching that actually changes things.
You are reading this because you are navigating something most people cannot understand. Trauma that changed everything. Chronic illness that redefined your capacity. Or both.
We get it. Not theoretically. Actually.
Victoria completed years of therapy, understood every pattern, and still found herself stuck. She knows the gap between insight and actual change. That gap is where she works. Stephanie was diagnosed in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades rebuilding identity, protecting energy, and refusing to let a condition the world cannot always see write the end of her story. That lived reality is what she brings to every client.
We did not just survive these experiences. We built from inside them. That is what makes the difference between coaching that sounds right and coaching that actually changes things.
Join The Triumph®Most coaches have not navigated what you are navigating. They offer theory, borrowed frameworks, and well-meaning advice that does not account for managing trauma responses during board meetings or chronic illness flare-ups whilst leading teams.
We offer something else entirely.
Our Triumph® Framework® integrates trauma-informed principles with chronic illness coaching methodology and executive coaching, bridging the space between therapeutic healing, diagnosis recovery, and professional achievement.
We specialise in the space between "I have done the therapy" and "I am ready to thrive." The space between "I have the diagnosis" and "I know who I am now." Both territories. Both equally missed by most coaching.
This expertise did not come from certification programmes. It came from years of doing this work ourselves, making every mistake, and finding what actually works.
Transformation is not about positive thinking. It is about practical systems that work when your body and mind are not cooperating.
We built Mindset + Mastery because we needed it ourselves years ago, and it did not exist.
We needed coaches who understood that career ambition does not disappear because trauma happened. That chronic illness does not mean accepting a diminished life. That the grief of a diagnosis nobody can see is as real as any other loss. That "self-care" advice feels insulting when you are managing genuine disability.
"Two women. Two completely different tunnels. Victoria navigating trauma. Stephanie navigating chronic illness since 2006. One shared moment of recognition that changed everything."
We needed expert guidance that acknowledged the full complexity of rebuilding life after trauma whilst managing ongoing health challenges, without toxic positivity or oversimplified solutions. That is what we provide now.
The seven pillars of the Triumph® Framework® assembled themselves across both of our lives, across Victoria's years navigating trauma and Stephanie's years inside chronic illness since 2006. It had been waiting for us to find each other, compare what we were each carrying, and finally give it a name. We did not create it from nothing. We uncovered it from everything.
We do not do generic life coaching. We do specialised transformation work for women navigating trauma integration, chronic illness reclamation, or both simultaneously.
Every programme uses the Triumph® Framework® covering seven pillars of sustainable transformation, but we adapt to what you actually need. The framework serves you, not the other way round.
Maximum 8 to 10 participants ensuring genuine personal attention every session.
Completely customised transformation built entirely around your life and priorities.
Both coaches working in coordinated partnership addressing trauma and chronic illness simultaneously.
Three progressive programmes with complete Triumph® Framework® access for independent learners.
Victoria knows what it feels like to complete the therapy, understand every pattern, and still find yourself stuck. She lived through her own trauma recovery whilst building a career, raising her voice publicly through speaking and writing, and eventually co-founding Mindset + Mastery. She did not wait until she was fully healed to begin building. She built whilst she was healing, and she knows exactly what that costs. Alongside her work at Mindset + Mastery, Victoria is Co-Creator and Programme Director of Triumph Reclaim, a commissioned DWP-aligned employment support programme delivering structured 26-week cohorts for women experiencing economic inactivity due to trauma or chronic illness.
The exhaustion of maintaining professional credibility whilst navigating something privately that nobody around you can see. The frustration of having all the insight and none of the momentum. That gap between knowing and actually changing is where Victoria works. Most practitioners have never been there. She has lived there.
She specialises in the transition from psychological insight to embodied change, from managing symptoms to leveraging resilience as genuine strength, from feeling defined by trauma to constructing lives of authentic achievement, because she has made that exact journey herself. She also works within the integrated programme alongside Stephanie, holding the nervous system and identity strand for women navigating both trauma and chronic illness simultaneously.
"I completed the therapy. I understood every pattern. And I was still stuck. The gap between insight and actual change that is where I lived for years. That gap is exactly where I now work."

Stephanie has been living with chronic illness since 2006. Nearly two decades of learning what it means to rebuild after a diagnosis that the world cannot always see. The grief of the career she had planned. The body she used to have. The person she was before the illness rewrote everything.
She did not step back from her ambitions. She rebuilt them around the truth of her body, her energy, and what she actually had to give. She built a professional career, co-founded Mindset + Mastery whilst managing a health condition most people would have accepted as a reason to stop. She did not stop. Alongside her work at Mindset + Mastery, Stephanie is Co-Creator and Programme Director of Triumph Reclaim, a commissioned employment support programme built to return women with trauma histories or chronic illness to sustained, meaningful work through a structured seven-phase model.
Stephanie also founded Visibly Her CIC, a peer support community ensuring women with chronic illness have access to support at every stage of their journey, regardless of where they are financially.
Everything she coaches on chronic illness comes from inside that lived reality. The invisible negotiations with your own body every morning. The energy management that nobody teaches you. The grief of the life you had planned before the diagnosis changed the plan. Stephanie guides women through whole-life chronic illness reclamation energy management, strategic boundaries, identity reconstruction after diagnosis, workplace navigation, and building a life that is honest about your limits and still expansive about your possibilities.
"I was diagnosed in 2006. Nobody walked me through the grief of the career I had planned, the body I used to have, or the person I was before my illness rewrote everything. I had to build the map myself. That map is now the framework."

A trauma-informed programme that does not understand fluctuating capacity fails this population. A chronic illness programme that does not address the nervous system fails this population. Victoria and Stephanie know this not from research papers but from living it. Victoria holds the trauma strand. Stephanie holds the chronic illness strand. Together they hold the whole person. That is what no other programme does, because no other programme was built by two women who have genuinely lived both.
Clinical trauma expertise, nervous system regulation, identity reconstruction, psychological safety, and the lived proof that recovery is not the destination, it is the beginning.
Chronic illness reclamation, energy management, workplace expertise, strategic boundaries, and nearly two decades of lived proof since her own diagnosis in 2006 that a fluctuating body and a meaningful life are not mutually exclusive.
We hold professional counselling qualifications, specialised training in trauma work, and accredited certifications in both trauma integration and chronic illness coaching. We maintain ongoing professional development ensuring our practice reflects current best practice.
Between us our qualifications span trauma specialism, chronic illness coaching, HR management, life coaching, mental health first aid, holistic wellness, NLP, and safeguarding adults and children. Victoria holds the trauma credentials. Stephanie holds the chronic illness and workplace credentials. Together they hold the whole person.
"Our most relevant qualification is having navigated these exact journeys ourselves. That lived experience, combined with professional expertise and years of refining what actually works, creates transformation that purely academic coaching simply cannot achieve."
We work with professional women navigating trauma recovery, chronic illness, or both simultaneously. Women who have done the therapy and are ready for what comes next. Women who have the diagnosis and are ready to rebuild what it means. Women who are carrying both and have never found support that understands the full picture.
Women rebuilding their careers, identity and relationships after trauma, ready for the next chapter.
Women managing chronic illness whilst leading teams, navigating workplaces that do not understand their condition, and refusing to accept that a diagnosis means settling for a smaller life.
Women navigating both trauma and chronic illness simultaneously, tired of choosing between addressing one or the other.
Women who are intelligent, ambitious, and refuse to accept that their experiences mean the extraordinary life is no longer available to them.
If you are reading this and recognising yourself, you are exactly who we work with.
Begin Your Triumph® Today
The values that sit underneath everything we build, every session we deliver, and every woman we work with.
Even when you thought you had lost everything. Especially then. The most powerful transformations come from the deepest places.
Trauma and chronic illness do not define your ceiling. They inform your foundation for something better than you have yet imagined.
Practical strategies matter more than inspirational quotes. We give you systems that work on the hard days, not just the good ones.
Genuine support means understanding the full complexity of what you are navigating, not offering oversimplified solutions.
You deserve expert guidance from people who have done this, not just studied it. That is what we bring to every session.
Your ambitions do not disappear because life got hard. You should not have to apologise for still wanting extraordinary things.
Two women. Two completely different tunnels. One shared moment of recognition that changed everything.
Victoria navigates complex trauma whilst building a professional career. Stephanie navigates chronic illness whilst refusing to let it define her ceiling. Two women, forged by completely different experiences.
Two women find each other at exactly the right moment. The specific loneliness of having been through something most people cannot understand, met with recognition for the first time.
They sit down and compare what they have each been carrying. Different classrooms. The same knowledge. The Triumph® Framework® had been assembling itself across both their lives. It was waiting to be named.
Built for the women they once were. For everyone who needed expert guidance that understood the full complexity, without toxic positivity, without oversimplification, without pretending the hard parts are not hard.
Two specialisms. One complete programme. Every day, more women moving from survival into something extraordinary. The mission is still unfolding.
